17+ miles of trails on north side of Melvern Lake (35 miles south of Topeka, KS). Day use parking at Crooked Knee Trail Head; primitive camping at Cowboy Camp with horse ties, shower house near; 15 new camping pads with water and electric hookups plus 15 pipe corrals at West Point campground area. Park Office 785-528-4102 |

7.5 miles south of Lyndon, KS on US-75, then turn west on state road 278 and go approximately 4.5 miles. Turn left into Eisenhower State Park, and stop at the ranger station before continuing to the campground of your choice

More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes)

Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
