Spent the week visiting and camping at the Big South Fork Lodge and Campground located directly across the street from the Cumberland Trail Head of Big South Fork park. Our camping experience was terrific, having camped right beside our horse stalls. Clean bath facilities. We were able to walk across the street to the Hitching Post store and grill for a wonderful Taco Tuesday evening and breakfast at the Hitching Post each morning. We shopped for whatever we needed if we forgot something. I was able to buy hay and have stall cleaning service! Friendly owners and staff each day. We will go again as often as possible. Highly recommend this location and facilities. I've tried other camps in the area and this one was definitely the best! Thank you Claudia and Heidi for a wonderful week! more....
