Trail Description Big South Park National Park and Recreational Area. Secenic overlooks, rock formations, bluffs, caves, water crossings and more. Wide variety from easy to moderate to challenging. Located at the Mt Helen Trail Head with easy access to forest.

Campground New campground. Each developed site has water and electric 20,30, and 50 amp; Primitive sites have water nearby. Barn 16' center-aisle wit height 14 x 14 bedded stalls. Stall rental includes sawdust. Two was racks next to barn dump station. Men's & women's bathrooms with showers; fire pits; covered gathering/eating area, with gas grill and coffee pot WIFI in the near future. Camper rental; Grass paddocks with 12'x20' shelters that can accommodate two horses; grass paddocks that can accommodate two horses; corral panel pens and Picket lines

(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
