Trail Description Bridle Creek Trails is located inside the Jefferson National Forest along the 67 mile long Virginia Highlands Horse Trail. Also, The Iron Mountain Horse trail, Creeper Trail, and many more trails to venture down.

Campground Bridle Creek Trails is built and ran by a Family of Trail Riders and campers. The horse camp is still progressing. At this time We have power hook-ups, central water and tie stalls available! Primitive sites are also available. Jefferson National Forest has great trail riding and Bridle Creek Trails has very affordable rates and is a great horse camp.

Directions From Wytheville, VA( which has great access from I-81 and I-77)take hwy 21 to Speedwell, take 619 to 602 and pass through Cripple Creek. About a mile and a half past Cripple Creek on the left there's forestry access 4050. Follow the road a half a mile into Jefferson National Forest and rght into Bridle Creek Trails. Map

(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
