My family and friends came to stay at the campground, and even though it was a busy weekend, we got a cancellation spot. I am happy the park is now reserving stalls so campers can know if there are enough stalls available before they arrive. Stalls are now covered and new bathhouse is near. The trails were well-marked and well groomed in most cases. We were able to ride two days without repeating the same trails: 10 miles one day and 12 the next. Please recognize that you can not check into camp until 2 pm, but we parked at public parking near the stable and went trail riding, then checked into our camp site when we returned, about 3:30. You must bring your own shavings, feed, hay and buckets. Loved it!!

Trails are well marked. Trail map available for free at park entrance. Campground has 30/50 amp hookups. Electric/Water/Sewer. Nice modern bathhouse facilities. Stalls have roofs. Horse wash rack available. Rusted Roof Riding Stables staff are friendly and helpful.

Well marked trails. Horses should have shoes or boots. Equestrian camping has everything you need, although not scenic. Stalls do not have roof.
