This is our "go to" trail. Nice bathrooms, great staff, 50 amp hookups with sewer. Plenty of pens. There are tons of great trails, lots of shade, and this place is usually open when most others are closed due to rain.

All camp sites now have 2 preifert corrals and are next to campsite. There are wagon trails, walking trails and horse trails that are very well marked. the trails are trimed and easily traversed. There is adiquite water on the trails for horses. Heavy rains cause muddy trails in the bottoms. But the high trails are open all the time. The trail head has restrooms and showers, elect and water for trailers. The Trailgaitors and Friends ride there at least once a week and often 2 or 3 times. This is a great place to visit or to stay a while.

Some of the nicest, cleanest and well-marked trails I've been on and I do a lot of trailriding! The trails offered some nice areas to do some long-trotting and cantering along with terrain changes and areas where the trails need you to be able to navigate and manage your ride a little more closely. I only did about 13 miles and there was just about as much or as little as a rider could ask for, depending on how you choose to ride the trails. We saw deer, buffalo, rabbits and wild hogs! I am DEFINITELY going to do this trail again and again and again. OH!! and there are beautiful picnic areas with clean outhouses along all the trails!! Can it get much better than that?
