This is a nice little trail to leg out your horse and expose them to bridges. We live close and it is a great trail for Spring and Fall rides for a couple hours.

Tomorrow Dec. 15 the trail will be closed to horses until march 15 The park is closed to horses and open to cross country skiing. It opens up again to horses in March 15/2012 It close to the house and a lot of fun to ride and fairly hilly. The forestry service did some work on the long bridge aproach and exit. The park cleans up most of the dead falls for the skiers so in the spring its perty decent in the spring. Until the spring storms come along, but it'susualy not much.

Nice flat trail for a day ride. There are a few narrow wooden bridges to walk over but otherwise, highly uneventful. Good place for a young horse to learn.
