Trail Description Short trail is 5.6 miles. Long trail is 17.8. Easy terrain through pine and hardwood forest. We have found management to be pro equestrian.

Times to Avoid
Campground Fenced horse camp located on US 84 in Kisatchie National Forest. Vault toilets. Water at camp sites. Tables and several wooden stalls. 8 to 10 sites but you may camp anywhere within the fenced area. Horses may be tethered with tree savers. Management is very pro equestrian. Fee area, $3 per night.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes)

 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
