Trail Description Mixed trail riding near Natural Bridge State Park in old oilfield lands. Miles of trails with varying terrain, beautiful sites and nice cliff views. Trails are wide. Trail access is on private property and for people boarding horses with us and staying in a cabin or campground.
Best Time to Visit Anytime of year -Weekdays are very nice.
Times to Avoid Weekends in October are busy due to fall colors. Book early if need a cabin.
Campground We have nice modern rental cabins available. Visit www.sceniccabin.com. We also have a campground geared for RV's with electric, water and septic. The toilets and showers are located about 3/4th mile away.

Directions Mountain Parkway to Slade, KY, exit #33. Head South on Rt. 11 toward Natural Bridge. Go about 9 miles to Rt.1036 and turn right. Go about 1 mile to Black Log Rd & turn left. Go about .6 mile till it ends into a nice log house with horse barn for boarding. Register your horse at log cabin for horse stall.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
