Our single Ozark Mountain guest cabin is just a few feet away from some great trails within the Ozark National Forest. Mountain Meadows Ranch is a great place to leave your cares behind, relax while watching the wildlife and to enjoy the wonders of the Ozarks in a non-commercial and very private setting. While staying at Mountain Meadows Ranch guest cabin, guests may... • Bring your hiking boots or horses and explore the Ozark mountains. (field guides and maps provided) • Bring your dog for a hike. We are very pet friendly - they need a vacation too. • Fish in our stocked pond or area lakes

We are not a large commercial cabin rental operation, but still offer most of the comforts of home while you enjoy the surroundings and "getting away". BRAND NEW GUEST CABIN (BUILT IN 2002) WITH A BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEW Bedrooms: 2, Both with queen beds ( for larger groups couch makes into a bed ) Bathrooms: 2, One has a Jacuzzi tub for two, the other a large walk-in shower. All linens provided, Kitchen: Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes and cookware. Covered porches, wood stove, TV (local channels only), DVD player, radio/CD player, outdoor gas grill. Most cell phones will get reception on the mountain, If you have to use them. THE USE OF THE PROPERTY IS FOR REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. Eight horses call Mountain Meadows Ranch their home. Guests are always welcome to come up to the barns and pet the horses (the horses love it) or just come and have a look. We usually have a young horse we're working with. There is always room for more so bring your own horses. HORSE POLICY: CURRENT NEGATIVE COGGINS REQUIRED. STALL FEE PER DAY: 10.00 WE FEED, FREE YOU FEED. stalls are 12' x 12' and there is a grazing corral to let your horses stretch their legs. Directions *(Note: if you are coming from N.W. Arkansas, call us for a shortcut) From I-40 West take the first Ozark exit which is hwy 219 and turn right. If you are on I-40 East (like from Fort Smith) take the second Ozark exit to hwy 219. From here it is 13 miles to our ranch ( 8.2 miles on pavement and 4.8 miles on dirt. Follow 219 until the payment ends (8.2 miles) and then take the right fork. Stay on the main dirt road (Mountain Top Rd) for another 4.8 miles, taking right turns at any split. You will be able to follow the signs for Mtn Meadows Ranch. As you near the ranch, you will see a canyon on the left and the ranch is the next place on the left. A sign points up the driveway.
