Trail Description - Recommended for Intermediate and Advanced Riders PINK RIBBON/RED DIAMOND RIDE – (Scenic Trails and River) The terrain here with its hills and ravines will thrill the most experienced horsemen. You will go up and down hills and go through creeks. If we get lucky you will see deer, wild turkey and other wildlife. You have your choice to ride along side or even get in the Enoree River for about a mile. You may see a crane or beaver in the river. Approximate time for this ride is about 4 hours. Just a note: Do not ride in the river if you can’t see the bottom or sand bars. Also, do not go in with a Tie-Down on your horse. If the horse would slip down it could drown. The river normally is just knee deep on the horse but it can get pretty deep when we have a lot of rain. We do not want you to take any chances. Horses can’t swim with a tie down on. Also, if you have not experienced riding your horse in water some horses will try to lie down on you. Some signs that they are thinking about lying down is pawing at the water. If you keep your horse moving you should not experience any problems. Also, stay in the middle of the river, do not venture to the sides it can be very boggy by the banks. There are 3 entrance/exit ramps. Only enter and exit at those locations for the ground is solid there.
