great trails, nice shaded trails for hot days, nice spots to let the horses cool down & drink in the nicely flowing cool river, extensive trails, power line trails too (are a bit more rugged). many trails to choose from, you can get the trail map at the broad river green way site, makes negotiating them easier so you don't get lost.great place to ride. All they need is a couple hose spicket sites at the trailer parking area to make it perfect, so you can bathe your horse after a long day on the trails. So I bring plenty of my own water to cool my horse down after a ride, but a hose spicket would make it perfect. hopefully in their future plans. Sure makes it nicer for the horses when they are hot & sweaty to get a nice cool bath after a long ride, but i have noticed most places do not have this available ? lets get more horse friendly at these trail sites. After all the horses are the ones doing all the work.

Wonderful shady trails, plenty of water for horses, great for gaiting just remember that you are sharing the trails with hikers etc. Probably gets busy on weekends and the trailer area has limited capacity. The trails were more extensive than we expected so we plan on coming back with our gps.
