Rode these trails yesterday with an intermediate and a beginner rider. Lots of shady trails and beautiful trees. There are some "hills" which is great for us Florida folk. It is easy to get lost and not easy to find a trail map. There is a 1 and 2 trail, a blue and a yellow. Stay on the trails or have an app on your phone that helps you backtrack. If all else fails, trust your horse to know the way back to the trailer.

OOPS! please ignore the review from B.J. and Leon Kersey for this campsite on 5/12/2007. We actually did not ride this trail, but were at Goethe State Forest-please see review for North Star Acres. My mistake. Sorry

This was one of the nicest camping facilities we've ever been to. The owner "Roberta" treated us like family and gave us complete use of everything on the ranch. We had the use of the 12 stall barn, horse paddock, hot walker and arena to ourselves. It was quiet and relaxing and the trails were very easy to ride, especially for my inexperienced horse. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing weekend or week at a beautiful facility.

Nice live oak hammocks and some hills to climb. One of the prettier areas in FL, but day riding only at this trail head. Very nice staging area.

There is nothing challanging about this trail, after all, it is florida! We live here, and have ridden this place often, it is my favorite place to ride, year round! Even in the summer it has lots of shady trails.
