Good place to camp and ride. So happy to find a horse camp with water/electric and horse pens in Michigan. Rustic, well kept camp, sites are positioned so you are not on top of your neighbors. Horse corrals are sturdy and base is all sand. Several concrete manure pits around camp. Bring a rake, manure fork and manure cart if you have one, wheelbarrows provided. Nice covered area for gathering, bathrooms and showers. Well marked trails on property with good map. Access to national forest trails. Don & Joyce are helpful and friendly. We will be back!

Thanks D Bar D ranch for a great ride! I have a horse ranch on the north side of Hungerford Lake riding area just 22 miles from D Bar D ranch. It is nice to ride at different places. We will be back to the D Bar D ranch it is very clean and a great place to camp. F. Reil

This was our first visit to D bar D Ranch and will plan to return in the spring. The trials on the ranch are fun and varied (and you can't get lost) plus you can ride further onto the nearby state land (where you could try to get lost). It was a very plesant experience and the hospitality is most appreciated.

The campground is great, has pens for horses if you choose not to picket. Ice and wood on site. Electric, water & sanitary station are awesome. The trails are beautiful with some great obstacles, bridge, steams & hills!! The owners are super nice and will do anything to make your visit great. Will go there every chance we get!!
