Spent a Memorial weekend their and had a great time. The topography is hilly in the front section of the park and a little flatter in the back 90. There are 3 major loops which you can mix up to keep your riding interesting. The longest is 17 miles.....The switchbacks in the front section were fun and offered a little more challenging riding than we usually see in Michigan... but nothing to cause you any issues....Very mature forest with a nice canopy. Visiting the river was fun and offered a great gathering place for riders.....The state campground was well kept and adequate if you don't require water or electric.....there is a private campground that offers water and electric and a bit of entertainment in the evenings to boot......Will definitely go back. |
