Campground Camp: The camp is on the shore of the Boardman River, and is a drop-in camp. There is a hand pumped well, and a well requiring a 5000 Watt generator. Ranch Rudolf has a restaurant, and for a price you can also get hot showers. The trail East (Kalkaska) leaves camp near the road exit. The trail West (Mud Lake) goes around Traverse City & may have much car traffic. The South Spur (Hopkins Creek) splits off the trail to the West a short distance from camp.
