Campground Camp: The camp is a drop-in camp with a hand pumped well and a well requiring a 500 Watt generator. The trail East (Goose Creek) leaves out the camp access road. The trail West (Shecks) leaves camp past the hand well.

Directions Located 24 miles West of Goose Creek Camp Driving Directions: From the intersection of US-131 & County Road 612 in Kalkaska, head North on US-131 to BeeBe Road, West (left). Go 0.7 miles on BeeBe Road, to Metzgar Road West, and go one mile to Rice Road, South (left) for 0.2 miles to camp.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes)

 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
