Trail Description Travel amoung tall pines in nice wide trails. Some service roads and pipe lines. All of the trails connect. Trails are not marked.
Best Time to Visit Spring and Fall
Times to Avoid mid summer
Campground Primitve camping with no water or electric. Shaded with no specific camping sites but lots of room for at least 15 rigs.

Directions From Houston, 59 North to Cleveland, take 2025 going to Coldspring, about 10 miles out turn right on 2666. Entrance is the very first gravel road to the right. Take the first left and you will see the camping area.

(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
