Bluffs above the tamerack river. Bridges and wooden stair cases. Challenging for any horse and rider. Mostly single trails.Rocky river crossings. This camp is a must for anyone wanting a challenge. |

Clean and trailer parking friendly. Primitive camping pump water. Teather line tie ups. Picnic tables and fire bits. Sometimes fire wood available.Deer flies are bad along the river in the middle of the summer.

East out of Hinkley past casino. About 20 miles. Go past main enterance to the park (on the right) Go to Gracie Road to the left.About 3-4 miles take Tamerack River Road to the right this road is gravel and narrows stop sign take left. Or cotact DNR

Easy (Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. )
More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes)
Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand)
Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
